Hi there !

This is a French page but you just have to watch the pictures. It's about the cellphone in some persons life. They can't do anything without it : they have to text when they are with friends, at a date, at the cinema ... Sometimes it is very ridiculous !

New flavors of Macaron from Lenôtre

Hi there !

The other day, I was in Paris with a friend and we saw the shop "Lenôtre".
The first shop was opened in Paris in 1957. This company is founded by Gustave Lenôtre.

Here is the macaron I bought :

The flavor is strawberry with basil. When I was reading the flavor, I didn't want to try this one but I found it very beautiful. 

So I decided to taste it. And I wasn't disappointed; yes it's little weird but it's worth it !

There are other new flavors like : apricot with lavanda, lemon with jasmine. Maybe I will taste its later :)

Poor kitten :s

This video deals with a kitten which was born with 2 heads in the USA.
The name of the kitten is Duecy. It was rejected by its mother !

Reflets / Palais de Tokyo

Palace of Tokyo (or the Palais of Tokyo) is located in Paris, near the Trocadéro.
This monument was inaugurated in 1932.

From 29 May to 3 June 2013, there was the exhibition "Reflets"(reflection in English), it was free for everybody.

        

This exhibition is about jewelry, it was very beautiful. I have chosen some pictures :

Silver jewelry 925‰

Ring "fantasize" in white gold 750 ‰ 

Ebony and yellow gold 750 ‰, diamonds and ruby

yellow gold and white gold 750 ‰, diamants, fire opal,  moonstone, sapphires.  

Necklace " Crabomard" with 2 real crab clips and a saphir necklace 

Necklace, diadem and ring in white gold 750 ‰ and diamants. 

Lenticular printing : to have image in relief. For this picture, 60 pictures were generated, gathered and compressed in order to have one picture (printed in high resolution). Picture realized by Alioscopy company. 

Necklace "Splendour swan" in yellow gold 750 ‰ with 40.04 carats of diamants and downs. 

Cinema Paradisio / Grand Palais

During 11 days (from 10th June to 21th June), the Great Palace (Grand Palais in French) which is located on the Champs Elysées is going to create a cinema !

There will be the best drive-in never organized in Paris !
It could be nice to see a movie there ^^
Until 1 000 persons by movies, there could be sit in cars like Fiat 500 or sitting in a hill specially built for this event.

The Great Palace is going to share in 4 areas : movies, food, game and clubbing.

One of the best "Macaron" of the world !

The other day, I bought some macarons from "La durée".

If one day, you come to Paris you have to buy macaron from there, they are very very good ! 

History : 

In 1862, Louis Ernest Ladurée created a bakery in Paris.

9 years later there was a fire and the bakery was moving in a pastry shop.

Jules Chéret decorated the new shop and painted angels on the shop. You can find this angel on the green bag when you buy something there.

At the begining of the 20th century, Pierre Desfontaines who is the second cousin of Louis Ernest Ladurée created the macaron. He decided to join two macaron shells with a ganache.

Macaron are made every morning, they are waiting 48 hours before putting them on sales.

Which each new season, Ladurée creates a new flavor.

I bought different flavors : strawberry candy, chocolate coconut, yuzu ginger, raspberry, vanilla, pistachio and caramel with salted butter.

In my opinion, the best flavors of macarons of Ladurée are pistachio and raspberry :)

Every each little macaron costs 1.85E. It's little expensive, but it's really worth it !!! Trust me :)
