The other day, I bought some macarons from "La durée".
If one day, you come to Paris you have to buy macaron from there, they are very very good !
History :
In 1862, Louis Ernest Ladurée created a bakery in Paris.
9 years later there was a fire and the bakery was moving in a pastry shop.
Jules Chéret decorated the new shop and painted angels on the shop. You can find this angel on the green bag when you buy something there.
At the begining of the 20th century, Pierre Desfontaines who is the second cousin of Louis Ernest Ladurée created the macaron. He decided to join two macaron shells with a ganache.
Macaron are made every morning, they are waiting 48 hours before putting them on sales.
Which each new season, Ladurée creates a new flavor.

I bought different flavors : strawberry candy, chocolate coconut, yuzu ginger, raspberry, vanilla, pistachio and caramel with salted butter.
In my opinion, the best flavors of macarons of Ladurée are pistachio and raspberry :)
Every each little macaron costs 1.85E. It's little expensive, but it's really worth it !!! Trust me :)
Pierre Hermès c'est bon aussi... et c'est aussi chère
