Bread festival 2013

During the public holiday last week, I decided to walk around Paris with my camera. I walked during 20km ! It was great.

 It was a beautiful day : I went to the "Centre Georges Pompidou", "Hôtel de ville" (where I saw a crazy parrot !!! the picture is coming in an other post ^^) , "Notre Dame de Paris" ... and it was at this last place that I discovered a festival : the bread festival.
It was the first time I heard about that.
After some research on the internet, I have found this festival was created in 1996. Bakers can give pride of place to their job.

Kinsale

Kinsale is a fishing village near Cork (around 25 km). I had to take the bus to go there, there are no trains.

Fota : Wildlife park

The Fota wildlife park is a nice zoo near Cork.
It's about 15 minutes by train and the return ticket is at 5,50 euros. To visit the park is 9,20 euros (for students). It's really worth it.
You can see a lot of different animals : kangaroos, monkeys ...

Blackrock castle

The Blackrock castle is dated around the 16th century.

I visited this area because one of my friends lived near this castle.
Unfortunately when we visited it, the castle was closed. You know, everything close very early in Ireland ! I think the castle closes at 5 pm.

Dublin

Dublin is the capital of Ireland and it's the biggest city of this country.

• Temple bar

In my opinion when someone says "Dublin" you think immediately to the Temple bar.

So, the Temple bar is an area in Dublin where there are a lot of pubs, and a pub with this name.

• Trinity College

The other famous "monument" in Dublin is Trinity College.

This College was founded in 1592, it is one of the ancient university of Britain and Ireland.

And here is the famous library in this college :

• Natural history museum

It is a free museum, like almost all the museums in Dublin.

• St Stephens Green garden

Here is a nice garden in Dublin, very flowered, with a lake in the middle. On the frontlake, there are a lot of birds.
